Somaliland Genocide in 1988.

Somaliland is a country in the horn of africa, bordering with Ethiopia, Djibouti and Somalia. It was a former british protectrate. In 1960, when it took its independence united with Italian somalia unconditionally on the basis of dream philosophy saying pansomalism.
Italian somalia was given the capital city, the head of the military, the head of the police, the president and the speaker of the parliment, doing so Somaliland was experienced discrimination and has been brutally harassed, still believing the dead dream, Somaliland people tightened thier endurance to see some day the 5 somali come togather and build THE GREAT SOMALIA (Djabouti, Somali in Ethiopia, Somali in Kenya, Somaliland, Italian Somalia).
In 1969 the country became under coup lead by Gen. Siyad Barre; this was the mercy bullet on Somaliland Head, Siyad Barre immediately begun to kill the long imprisoned somaliland politicians andbeheaded lectuals, untill every Somaliland person become a target for his ethnicity Issaq clan.
between 1981-1988 the Issaq people were the victims of mass killings, the women were raped infront of their husbands and their children, the fathers were slaughtered in their houses and said to their wifes not to mourn but to celebrate, even the fetus in the mothers womb couldnt hide its self from the swords and brought it dead outside. The russian made Mig19 were droping their bombs on the heads of the motherless crying babies just to shut them up, the mosques were the prime target of the ruthless Barre's soldiers, the arab nations were helping Barre's massacre on the basis of that Somaliland people are jews, especially Egypt gave him landmines and ammunitions.
at least 1.5 million fled to the neighbouring country Ethiopia, Somaliland lost at least 400000 of its people deep inside the mass graves, at least 92% comeback in 1991 just homes with out roofs and dead corpuses inside- may be mothers, children, fathers, brothers and sisters get their graves inside the stomach of the rats and teeths of the hyena and mouths of the eagles, still smelling inside.
Somaliland is still waiting its lost independence, but it can wait more than another 700 years just to enjoy the the sence of happiness and self belongness.
